Scene Maker Apps: Part 3 - Screen Chomp

Last time I shared how using a sticker app can get you started on a project.

Today I want to share one of the ways I use Screen Chomp, one of my favorite apps, to make projects from Make a Scene apps.

First make scene, then send a snapshot to your camera roll.
Then open up Screen Chomp. To add your scene, touch the background button in the bottom left corner.

Select "Choose from Library" and find your picture in the camera roll. You'll want to zoom in or out to make it fit in the top rectangle if you don't want to have to scroll down during your video. I like doing this especially if I am working on top of a background, like we are for this project.

Then you'll want to select the 3 colors you will use in your video and decide what to say.

Press record. Then when you are finished, stop.

Next, you will have the opportunity to preview, name and share your video.

After you share ...

Then you can watch, share or open it in Safari. There are several options for exporting after you share.

Here are a few examples I made. Students can make this type of video, or you can make one yourself for use in class! Have fun making screen cast videos!
