Zig Zagging - Welcome

I'm thrilled that I finally took the plunge and started a blog! 

I will be sharing about iPad Apps and projects from my First grade classroom, professional development presentations that I have done, and other projects that I am fortunate enough to take on in my small school district on the Coastal Bend in Texas.

I have been a first grade teacher for 7 years and have loved incorporating new technologies into my classroom each year. This year I was fortunate enough to have been awarded 4 classroom iPads from our district grant foundation, which my students and I use every day. Each classroom on my elementary campus has now 3 to 5 iPads. We have been working hard to make this a smooth transition for teachers using Apple Configurator. I am able to use Configurator to set up each of the iPads with apps, as well as settings and restrictions.

Zig Zagging will be a place to reflect and share about my walk as an iPad Program Facilitator for our campus, and a teacher who loves all things technology!
