Collaborative Writing with Haiku Deck

This week we had some fun using dog books and activities in our room. It culminated with a poem on Haiku Deck.

We watched this video - too fun!



As well as read several dog books like A Ball For Daisy & Ball - which were in our story retell station, did dog art and more.

I have been exposing my kids to Haiku Deck as often as I can, because I want them to do a partner activity with it next week in math. I decided that collaboratively writing a poem would be perfect!

Each slide is done by a small group of students, guided with my help. They typed the text and arranged it on a picture that they chose. 

I love the result!
